Voluntary Retirement Request Letter

Mr. Ronald Fred

Branch Manager

Rising Bank Ltd

Subject: Voluntary retirement request letter

Date: 3rd January 2013

Respected Sir,

I am Darwin Paul, junior manager of Buckingham branch Rising Bank Ltd and I am writing this letter as I voluntarily wish to retire from my job post. I am taking this decision due to my wife’s prolonged illness and health issues.

Respecting my job profile and duties, I think that it is a time to take over my responsibilities and hence I request you for the voluntary retirement. With due regard, Mr. George would be taking over my post from the effective date of my retirement, that is on 20th January 2013.

I greatly value my 10 years long experience of serving my clients and customers at Rising Bank Ltd. The platform that I gained would be forever cherished by me. Leaving such a settled profession is of course a tough decision but since I need to take care of my wife’s health, so I wish to take voluntary retirement.

I would again emphasize that I will be forever grateful to you for providing me with such an opportunity and I would deeply miss my workplace and all the associated team members.

I hope that you would understand my concern for the voluntary retirement and approve my retirement plea. I wish that Rising Bank Ltd achieves great success!

Thanking you in anticipation.

Darwin Paul

Junior manager
