Subject: Union grievance letter

Respected Sir

I am writing this letter in order to express my grievances against the recent MOU signed by our workers union with the management of our company. One of the biggest drawbacks of the MOU is that that despite holding meetings for wage revision for the past one year the management has only agreed to give a meager hike of 6%. Such a small hike in wages during the high inflation time is grossly inadequate; almost all the workers are not satisfied with the quantum increase. Another controversial issue of working half days on Saturdays was accepted by our union members unanimously despite it was strongly opposed by the employees. The union has unable to meets the expectation of the workers and it seems that it has lost the objective upon which it was created.

The aim of the union worldwide is to protect the employees rather making them slave to a particular company. I would request to take some corrective steps in order to make the union strong and united.

Yours’ sincerely

Michael Jordon
