Subject: Resignation letter after maternity leave

Respected Sir,

I was on my maternity leave for the past 60 days that is from 20th July 2013. As mentioned to you, I was to join my office by the end of September. Through this letter, I would like to inform you about my decision to resign from my job post of a financial executive from Johnson and Johnson Enterprises Limited. As per the company’s policies and procedures, I am submitting this resignation letter, 3 weeks before the effective date of my resignation.

I have decided to resign from my duties because I believe that it is more important for me to take care of my 6baby at this point of time. Also, my new responsibilities of being a mother will not allow me to take out time for my employment. Before I resign, please be informed that I have completed and submitted all the projects and reports before I went on my maternity leave. I am surely going to miss the working atmosphere and the presence of each member of this company.

If I can be of any assistance to you, please feel free to contact me on 5939493. I wish Johnson and Johnson Enterprises all the best for its future endeavours.

Thanking you.

Sincerely,

Jenny Paul
