Subject: Grievance against the transport department

Respected Mr. Thompson,

This is to bring to your notice that I am disappointed with the transport facility provided by our organization to the employees and have a grievance against the transport department. There are few complications which are affecting the transport facility provided to the employees.

I am working in the customer service department and as this is peak time, we have to stay back till late night as the number of customer calls have increased. As per the transport policy we are supposed to get transport while returning home only if we are doing a shift that finishes after nine. But as I do a shift that is officially supposed to finish at seven, I am not provided transport though I am working till ten. When I had informed the transport department about this, they had given the excuse that they are only following the company policy.

I would like to request you to look into this matter as we are doing overtime only for the benefit of the organization.
