Dear Sir,

I write this letter to inform you that about my grievance regarding work ethics practiced by some employees.  I have been experiencing discrimination in the workplace because of my gender.  I am requesting that the matter be looked into and be worked out soon.

In brief, my grievance is as follows:

I work in a department that is headed by a male and also have a majority number of its workers as males.  In fact, there are only two of us who are females in the place.  I dutifully come to work on time and fulfill my duties everyday.  However, my supervisor constantly criticizes my work and requires me to repeat several of my outputs even though these have already met the standards for the job.  Some of my co-workers also add to discrimination, distracting me from my work.

As per company rules, I hope the hearing will be arranged soon.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Carol Richardson
