Subject: Complaint against purchase made

Respected Mr. Ripper,

This letter is in regards to the online purchase made by me from the website happydiscounts.com on 25th May 2013. I would like to bring to your notice that I want to make a complaint against the product purchased and the website.

I had purchased a box of chocolates paying a price of five pounds. Before purchasing I had called the customer service and enquired with them regarding the expiry date and they had confirmed that it was within the expiry date. I was supposed to receive the delivery within three days but I received it after one week of purchase. Above that when I checked the expiry date; I found the product had already expired. When I complained to the company and asked them to refund my money they refused to do so. I want the purchase price to be refunded.

I would request you to look into this matter and take strict action against the department concerned or else there would be consumers like me who would be cheated in future by the company.

Regards,

Kane West
